One of my favorite photographs I’ve taken, and that’s in spite of my self. The original is underexposed and oversaturated, with strips of glaring afternoon sun away from the subject matter. The gorilla (at the Memphis Zoo) only held the pose for a moment, though, so it was a matter of just aiming and hitting the shutter release. Thankfully, there was enough time to focus, so I was able to salvage this fun moment.
